A Little Bit About Me...

I am on the Steering Committee for the "Samarpan Spiritual Leadership Center" - a non-profit organization in Alpine, CA. Its mission is, "To create a learning environment that inspires people to become leaders who practice Unconditional Service (Samarpan)" and "To Love & Serve, Unconditionally, To Those In Need, Through Health Care, Education, & Spiritual Transformation."

I also see private clients in person or over the phone for Spiritual Direction, Healing, Life Coaching, Hypnosis and Massage/Body work. Of particular interest is my "Angel" work which is detailed on my website at http://MeetYourAngels.com.

I grew up in the Los Angeles area, and graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious and Theological Studies with an emphasis in Scripture. After graduating, I was a member of a monastery for 2 years where I furthered my studies in Spirituality. While in the monastery, I was a live-in staff member at a retreat center for various "Anonymous" groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotics Anonymous etc. I also gained valuable experience working in various ministries such as soup kitchens, convalescent homes, hospitals, and a youth detention facility.

In 1991, I settled in San Diego and graduated from Body Mind College in Sorrento Valley, where I received my formal training in Massage Therapy. In 2000, I completed my training as a "Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist" and have been a member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE), and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). I specialized in helping people with addictions, motivation/goal setting, learning enhancement, sports hypnosis, phobias, weight loss and smoking cessation. I also had the opportunity to work with pregnant women wishing to experience "painless childbirth" and dealt in the rare field of forensic hypnosis which is helping people to spark their memory to uncover missed details when a witness to a crime or having lost items etc.

I am also a Reiki Master - a teacher/practioner of a healing modality which utilizes the body's energy (the "Universal Life Force" = Reiki) to bring about healing on the physical, mental and spiritual planes. This very powerful, yet subtle modality is an AMAZING addition to my formal training and has made all the difference in the natural healing I bring to my clients.

For those who have had one of my "healing massage" encounters, it is almost impossible for them to explain what had happened to them and how it affected them.
